Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Sustaining security for health and happiness promotes stronger communities.
The architecture of Tokyo includes a rich tapestry of work by contemporary architects. In the upper right corner of this drawing, one police station stands out as distinctive in its "helmet" appearance. Like some of the Japanese castles, the helmet station becomes a symbol of strength and security. As an island in the street, the mouthlike opening shelters the officer who keeps watch over the street.
Sustainable design can embrace people and their communities in new ways. In America, we have challenges in many cities to police neighborhoods that have drug and gang violence. The police in most cases roll in and out with patrol cars and are not always embedded in the neighborhoods with familiarity to the youngest members of the community.
