Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Hungary 3: Detail (i) Highlights Relevant to Sustainable Design:
We can rethink window shading and thermal mass heating systems.
This sketch includes at the upper left of center an illustration of a window that has a window shading system. You can open it out to allow natural ventilation and also benefit from added security when it is closed. In the lower right, a circular home wood-burning furnace is built with masonry to hold the heat and emit it back into the room rather than letting the majority of the heat go up the chimney.
