The ink sketches are all from field observations drawn on fold-out sketch books, most of which are about seven feet long. Alan - Thank you. The proportions are often tough standing in the field with a pen in hand. In the case of this drawing of Old Town Square in Prague, I spent the better part of a day documenting the different architectural features as well as the street vistas to create the larger drawing as a 360 degree view.
